“Tag On It”
Introducing a new career chapter for the rising pop singer-songwriter, “Tag On It” is a fresh take on Cosentino’s witty lyricism and unexpected deliveries. The new single is a bold, humorous observation of dating culture and the ever-present lack of commitment in modern romance.
Sonically, the track is infectiously catchy — begging you to sing along as the whimsical production struts beside Cosentino’s sassy and polished vocals.
“Tag On It” will be available for streaming on October 11.
Kate Cosentino fully owns “Tag On It” — we welcome inquiries for sync, brand collaborations, and other creative placements.

“You’re trying her on like a sweater, make her think she’s the perfect fit…shrinking her down in the dryer to a crop top accident.”
Cosentino stays true to her “clown couture” brand (coined during her time with Niall Horan on NBC’s The Voice) with nods to fashion in the song. “I’m excited to use this project as a chance to highlight alternatives to fast fashion and the over-consumption of trendy clothes — kind of the same problems we feel when dating!”
More about Kate Cosentino:
Well-versed in the art of puns and guitar-shredding, Kate Cosentino’s music is something of jazzy sleekness atop the lyrical precision of witty slam poetry. Despite having made a stunning introduction to thousands of new fans as a Team Niall contestant on season 23 of NBC’s The Voice, The Nashville based artist has been sharing her work with listeners for years; Horan seemed to pick up on this immediately, describing the songstress as an “already-made star” just moments after hearing her blind audition. Donning her personal sound with the fitting description of “Regina Spektor and Norah Jones meeting a Charlie Puth bassline,” Cosentino’s genre-bending style coupled with her authentic storytelling talent make for consistently compelling works of art.
Cosentino’s discography is aflush with lyrical quippings that indulge in clever wordplay and poignance in the same breath. Her EP Note to Self was released in May of 2022 and received praise from several outlets including Rolling Stone India. With successful releases under her belt such as the electrifying, anthemic cover of Blondie’s “Call Me” and the introspective “Fighting With Myself” in 2023, Kate is back in 2024 with her generationally-relatable and sonically-derivative track, “Swim”, out now.
The multidisciplinary artist prides herself on using her platform to make the space for her listeners to feel both seen and empowered. She has also founded her own guitar strap company, BiG CHiCK Energy, that supports strings players of all colors, creeds, and genders by keeping them stylish on stage with her versatile, easy-to-use design. Catch Kate on tour in 2024 after such a thriving previous year, captivating audiences nationwide with her “clown couture” flair and distinctive yet resonating energy.
